I’ve spent the last decade helping women clarify their identity, elevate their presence, and build wardrobes that keep pace with the lives they’ve worked so hard to create.
I’m not a fashion influencer. I’m not here to push trends or make you chase what’s “in.” I’m here to help you get dressed with intention—because when your wardrobe reflects your power, everything shifts.
I created The YCS Styling Agency because I saw the gap: High-achieving women were excelling in every area of life—except the one place they saw themselves first: the mirror. Their wardrobe wasn’t keeping up. It didn’t reflect their growth, their goals, or their gravitas.
As a mother, entrepreneur, and woman in leadership, I know what it means to balance ambition with alignment. My clients don’t have time for chaos in their closets. And they certainly don’t need more clothes—they need the right ones. Chosen with strategy. Worn with confidence. Grounded in who they already are.

YCS stands for Your Chic is Showing, the name I launched this business under over a decade ago.
Back then, it was scrappy, creative, and full of possibility. And that spirit still lives here. While the business has evolved—from blog to brand to boutique styling agency—we’ve kept “YCS” as a reminder of our roots.
It’s a nod to where we began.
But our name now reflects what we’ve become: A premier destination for women who want their wardrobe to reflect their leadership, identity, and next-level life.

FAQs
What is a personal stylist?
A personal stylist is someone who helps people understand fashion trends, clothing styles, and color stories/theory. Personal stylists work one-on-one with their clients to enhance or improve their personal style through clothing, accessories, hair and make-up. A personal stylist is not a wardrobe stylist (hired by productions, publications, etc. to be a part of the team selecting a look for a specific project or event) or a personal shopper (someone who is generally well versed in putting together looks for one particular store, designer or brand).
Why should I hire a personal stylist?
There are many reasons our clients seek out the services of The YCS Styling Agency including a major life event or change, a need to update or revamp their wardrobe, a new job or career change, a dislike of shopping, the desire to understand how to dress for their body type, etc. We want our clients to show up confidently in all areas of their life.
Where are you located?
The YCS Styling Agency is based in the Washington, DC metro area. We proudly service clients around the world both in-person and virtually.
How do I book an appointment?
To begin your engagement with The YCS Styling Agency, you will book a style consultation. All consultations incur a $25 refundable consultation fee. This fee will be credited to your final styling package or returned if we determine that our agency is not the right fit. During your consultation we will discuss your style goals, talk about how our agency can best meet your needs, discuss your budget for services and clothing, and review payment options.
The style consultation is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have.
Once your package has been selected, we will complete your onboarding process and schedule time to fulfill your service appointment(s).
What is your policy for rescheduling or canceling appointments?
Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule personal styling appointments at no additional cost more than 48-hours ahead of the scheduled appointment. Any client who reschedules an appointment within 48-hours of the scheduled booking will be subject to a rescheduling fee of $75.
Cancellations
We work hard with our clients to reschedule personal styling appointments and aim to accommodate rescheduling. If your appointment is canceled, your payment will be forfeited. We are happy to accommodate rescheduling with 24 hour notice.
Are there any additional fees that I will incur?
Travel Fees
Services that require travel beyond a 30 mile radius will require travel fees. All travel fees are non-refundable, and a rescheduled travel appointment will require payment of additional travel fees.
Rush Fees
All services rendered with less than 30-days notice will incur a rush fee. Rush fees range from $250-$500 and are dependent upon the services required and timeframe for delivery.

In addition to personal styling fees, clients should be prepared to cover costs of new clothing.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made via debit or credit card, ACH transfer, or PayPal. We are also pleased to offer pay-over-time services via Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay. All services require payment in full or a fixed installment plan.
Do you shop for clients online or in-person?
We can support shopping for our clients both online and in person. We use a digital styling platform to shop for our clients online and style their wardrobes. While shopping together in person, our team will schedule all appointments and pull pieces to make your shopping experience seamless and comfortable.
